Overview

This five-day safari crosses three contrasting wilderness regions: the lush Meru National Park, the rugged northern frontier of Samburu National Reserve and the conservation-rich plains of Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

Game drives in each area show a different side of Kenya, from Meru’s rivers and dense greenery to Samburu’s rare Special Five and the wildlife of Ol Pejeta.

Day 1

Nairobi to Meru National Park

Depart Nairobi at 6:00 am for Meru National Park, arriving for lunch and check-in. An afternoon game drive at 4:00 pm explores the Tana River area.

Day 2

Meru to Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, transfer north to Samburu National Reserve for lunch. An afternoon game drive starts at 4:00 pm.

Full Day in Samburu

The Wild Frontier

A full-day game drive with a picnic lunch, looking for the Special Five. A cultural visit is optional at extra cost.

Day 4

Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

An early game drive and breakfast, then the transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy for lunch at the camp. An afternoon game drive starts at 4:00 pm.

Day 5

Ol Pejeta to Nairobi

An early game drive and breakfast, then the drive back to Nairobi. Lunch is at Carnivore Restaurant before drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
