The Ark is a lodge in the forest of Aberdare National Park, built to resemble Noah’s Ark and named after it. It overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, and guests watch visiting animals from balconies, lounges and viewing decks, while a ground-level hide allows eye-level photography. Night guards alert guests in their rooms when notable animals arrive. Its sister property, the Aberdare Country Club, is a short distance away.
