Coffee & tea farm tours

Coffee and tea, from the farm to the cup

Kenya’s coffee and tea grow in the cool highlands just outside Nairobi. Spend a day on a working farm: walk the fields, see how the crop is picked and processed, and stay for lunch.

The farms

Three farms we visit

Each visit is a day trip from Nairobi with hotel pick-up and drop-off. Farm visits work well on the day before or after a safari.

Sensory Garden & Tea Farm

A working tea farm in Tigoni, near Limuru, that offers guided farm tours by appointment. Visitors walk the tea fields and try tea picking, explore a sensory garden of fragrant herbs and make their own spice bag. The farm also has an animal section where children can meet rabbits and take donkey cart rides.
