Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your Diani Beach hotel at 5:00 am, followed by a scenic drive along the Mombasa–Nairobi highway towards Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. As the coastal landscape gives way to open plains, keep an eye out for wildlife along the way.
You will arrive in time for a mid-morning game drive en route to the famous Salt Lick Safari Lodge, uniquely built on stilts overlooking a waterhole that attracts elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of wildlife throughout the day. Enjoy lunch at the lodge while watching animals gather below—an experience unlike any other.
In the afternoon, take time to relax before heading out for an evening game drive within the sanctuary, offering excellent opportunities to spot elephants, antelopes, and predators in a serene and less crowded setting. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild.

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the best times to spot wildlife as the animals are active in the cool morning hours. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast.
After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, enjoying scenic views along the way as the landscape gradually opens up and Mount Kilimanjaro comes into view. Arrive in Amboseli in time for lunch at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, followed by some relaxation as you take in the stunning surroundings.
Later in the afternoon at 4:00 pm, head out for an exciting game drive across Amboseli’s vast plains, well known for its large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, and abundant birdlife. As the sun sets, the park is bathed in golden light, offering incredible photography opportunities with Kilimanjaro in the background. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to the coast. En route, enjoy a relaxing lunch stop at Kilimanjaro Restaurant and Curios Shop, where you can unwind, enjoy a delicious meal, and browse a variety of local souvenirs.
After lunch, continue with your scenic drive back to Diani Beach, arriving in the late afternoon, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
